Interview

In one of English lessons my classmates and I interviewed each other about our future love life.
So, 75% of us want to get married at the age of 25 and 25% at the age of 22. 75% of us prefer smart and kind partner and 25% don't know how he/she will look like. 2 students would love to have beautiful wedding in big place with lots of guests. Another one would rather to have a wedding party on the beach. And the last student doesn't want wedding party. Well, half of classmates choose to get divorced, if they had problems in their marriage. Another part of them wants to save their marriage in any ways. 50% of students think that marrige is an old-fashioned idea. 25% think that it's not important and 25% don't think that marrige is an old-fashioned idea.
So, all of interviewed students have never been on a date. But they want it. 1 out of 4 teenagers would love to have a date in a restaurant. Another two like dating and one of them just wants to have a good time. 3 out of 4 choose kind, smart and meek people. 1 of 4 prefer all kinds of women. Well, 75% would rather to get married and 25% prefer stay single because they can do what they want. Quantity of children in family goes frome 1 to 3. Two students would love to have 3 kids: 2 boys and 1 girl.

  1. Dear Sonya!
Thanks for your report, it'll help me get to know you better!
There are a few things I'd like to draw your attention to:
    1) There are so many ways to say 'prefer' in English: would like to V, would love to V, choose to V, would rather + V and so on. Can you use some of these in your report instead of prefer?
    2) Let's see who was the interviewer and who was the respondent. First of all, Who is the subject, so I interviewed, not me interviewed. Then, do you remember I told you about WO in phrases like 'my friends and I', 'my parents and I'? And finally, if you asked the questions and you also answered them, then you asked yourself, if you asked questions and someone answered them, then you interviwed each other/ one another.
    3) 3 OUT of 4, etc.
    4) at the age of 25, etc
    Please, work on those things!

  2. Yes, Now it's much better!
Still, there are a few things:
    1) do you remember our first lesson this year? what's the difference between each other/ one another?
    2) '5% of us prefer smart and kind partner', '2 students would love to have beautiful wedding in big place', 'And the last student doesn't want wedding party' need articles in them
    3) would rather + V without 'to'

    Anyway, Well done, Sonya!
